Vignette of girl cooking on title page, no other illustrations. Tail of spine faded 25 mm (1") and with small pale water stain, narrow faded strip along top edges of covers, tiny white spot near lower edge of upper cover, lower corner of lower cover damp spotted up to 40 mm (1½") from tip, faintly damp stained along lower edge of lower cover, pale damp staining and pale spotting to lower corner of rear pastedown, rear endpaper and final blank leaf, very little pale splashing to page 114, no loss, pale brown stain to lower margin of page 138, 1 or 2 small pale marks to a few margins, mostly very clean and bright, no inscriptions. A good plus sturdy copy in good complete DUSTWRAPPER (dw: price clipped with new small price label, spine and lower white panel slightly grubby, lower corner of lower panel damp stained and spotted, several closed edge tears all neatly repaired with archival tape on reverse, some creasing at head of spine and at top of upper panel, white borders, folds and lower innner flap all slightly darkened, upper panel illustration still nice).
