About This Item

New York: St. Martin's Press, 1978. The 1978 reprint of a book first published in 1972 is in Fine condition, with a Fine price-unclipped dust jacket. I've placed the dust jacket into an archival Brodart protective sleeve. The book is chock full of color photographs, as well as drawings, of various cat breeds. The book provides histories of the cats from biblical days to the present, as well as details their cultural influence. The book is bound in a lavender-gray cloth with die-stamped silver spine titles. NOTE: FOR DOMESTIC PURCHASE ONLY, due to the book's size, which would make international shipping costs prohibitive. There are no additional shipping costs with Domestic Media Mail, but Domestic Priority Shipping may require a shipping cost adjustment.. Hard Cover. Fine/Fine. Illus. by Sally Anne Thompson, Photographer. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
