Synopsis

JANE URQUHART is the author of six internationally acclaimed novels: The Whirlpool , Changing Heaven , Away , The Underpainter , The Stone Carvers , and A Map of Glass . She is also the author of a collection of short fiction, Storm Glass , three books of poetry, and recently a short biography of Lucy Maud Montgomery for the Extraordinary Canadians series. Urquhart has received the Marian Engel Award and the Harbourfront Festival Prize, and is a Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in France and an Officer of the Order of Canada. We operate an open bookshop in Tamworth, Ontario. The shop is open daily in July and August from 11 am - 4 pm. We also maintain a general Antiquarian stock available online or by appointment only. Most of our online stock is not in the bookshop.
