Limited edition of 160 copies only - this subscriber's copy printed for a M. Philippe Miguet. Unbound, as issued in printed wraps, card chemise and matching slipcase. The spine of the chemise very worn and faded, cracked at the hinges. Slipcase slightly rubbed/worn. Contents in near fine condition. ** Poème classique de Coleridge traduite en français par Valery Larbaud. Orné de 16 magnifiques illustrations originales de Jean-Gabriel Daragnès conçues pour cet ouvrage et terminées juste avant sa mort. Son ami, Galanis, s'est chargé de les 'traduire sur cuivre à la manière noire' avec un résultat à la fois imaginatif et atmosphérique. Edition tirée à 160 exemplaires, dont 140 exemplaires nominatifs y compris celui-ci qui porte le numéro 36. En feuilles, sous couverture imprimée rempliée, chemise et étui en carton vert. La chemise est abîmé, mais les mors tiennent, et l'étui présente quelques frottements et taches. L'intérieur est en excellent état.
