B&W Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; Numerous illustrations by Cruikshank, Landseer, MacLise, Stone, Doyle, Tenniel, Leech, Barnard, Brown [Phiz], Cattermole, Marcus Stone, Fildes, et al. Set complete in 30 volumes. Bound in three-quarter morocco leather over marbled boards with five gilt-ruled raised spine bands and gilt stamped rosettes, this is a collection of the works of Charles Dickens known as the "Autograph Edition," with a facsimile of Dickens's signature in each volume. The work contains many full-page illustrations, including frontispieces, with captioned tissue-guard sheets. Contents are solid, unmarked and complete. Approximately 6.5" x 9.25". Two volumes with darkened spines. Binding and hinges tight and intact. One of the better edtions of Dickens. .
