Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. 176 p.p. Light bumping to spine ends and corners, lightly sunned to spine and top edges of boards, bump to fore edge of boards near head. Dust jacket has some pumping and sunning to extremities, small chip to top edge at rear cover. Ink ownership inscription to FFEP. In these crisp, impeccably written stories, the great Chilean writer follows with precision and compassion the impulses lurking behind the bland rituals of everyday life that can disturb and even destory.
