New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1972. First U.S. edition. Hardcover. First printing. The follow up to Dahl's wildly popular books "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." Includes illustrations by Joseph Schindelman. An about very good copy with some light bumping to the corners and spine ends, a spot to the fore edge and a skinned area to portion of the rear board that is paper covered in a very good dust jacket that has some minor wear and a tear with some associated wear to the top of the spine at the edge of the rear panel. Despite the flaws a solid copy of this classic.
Synopsis
Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator is a children's book by British author Roald Dahl. It is the sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, continuing the story of young Charlie Bucket and eccentric candymaker Willy Wonka as they travel in the Great Glass Elevator. Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator was first published in the United States by Alfred A. Knopf, Inc. in 1972, and in the UK by George Allen & Unwin in 1973.
