PERRAULT (Char;es), FISCHER (Hans). Le Chat Botté Conte adapté illustré et agrémenté d'indispensables commentaires. Lausanne: André et Pierre Conin [1960-1961]. Illustrations: numerous lithographs (including several full-page and double; many in color) drawn on the stone in 1957 by Hans Fischer. The illustrations were printed by Arts graphiques J.-E. Wolfensberger, Zurich, and the stones erased after printing./ Unbound as issued, loose within letter=backed pictorial boards designed by the artist Han Fischer. Small folio, [40]pp + colophon, copy # 75 of 300 printed (this part of the regular version of 235 copies, then an additional 35 copies on Japan + XXX copies for the editors, all signed. An additional 200 copies in the German language was also printed for Editions Artémis, Zurich.
Only this version of these illustrations are printed directly from lithographic stones, posthumously as the artist died in 1958. It is preceded by a trade edition photomechanically printed and published in 1957.
