Beautiful Avant Garde cover art and illustrations by Russian Constructivist artist A. Suvorov. Prolific author and editor Lev Gumilevskii's young adult story of a small village on the banks of the Volga river, the struggles to cope with the aftermath of the Revolution, and the bravery of the small boy Egorka in his battle for justice with the all-powerful Village Council.
