New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1926. Photoplay Edition . Hardcover. Good+. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, red cloth board shows some spotting and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. The internal binding of the text portion of the pages is good and so is the front hinge, but the rear hinge has a long thin crack with the webbing peeking through. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings. The only evidence of handwriting is on the front end page where something was once penciled along the top edge, presumably from an old bookstore, and then later erased. Pages are toned due to age and there is some spotting and foxing present, though this is mainly limited to the end pages and pastedowns.

Spine sun damaged - spin also has a dark round spot (approx. 1 inch) just over the author's first name. Back and front boards have some slight age spots. Sewing of the inside front and back covers lose. No internal markings, clean text pages. Jazz Age romance and sequel to Meherin's popular novel, Chickie, which served as the basis for the First National Picture starring Dorothy Mackaill.

DJ is worn and tattered with numerous chips and tears, the largest being at the spine corners that measure over an inch. Red cloth boards underneath show only minor edge wear and soiling, the worst being a dark spot just above the letter I in the title the internal binding is good, no hinge issues. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting found. Pages are toned due to age and there are some smudge marks and scattered foxing present. Title page states "Illustrated with scenes from the Photoplay, a First National picture featuring Dorothy Mackaill".
