Anthology prepared for students. Verse of major British and American poets of early 20th century. First published 1929; this is the 1947 reprint of the 1943 3rd Edition. 1009 pages. British and American authors grouped separately. Poets, with biographical sketches, listed in order of their birth and their poems arranged by publication. Contents in two parts: I, English & Irish Poets (Thomas Hardy to Stephen Spender); and II, American Poets Edgar Lee Masters to Kenneth Fearling). Strong copy despite flaws.
