Philadelphia: American Sunday School Union, 146 Chestnut St, n.d. Illustrated by Frontis and two woodcuts in first title; Frontis facing second title. Unspecified series edition. Leather backed paper marbled boards, gilt stamped spine with four ruled bands (16, CHILD'S LIBRARY). 32mo (11cm). pp. 48, 48. Fair. Leather rubbed at caps and joints; paper worn to edges and board sections; front pastedown has scrape and pencil notation "16 Baptist S-Sch". Front pastedown has black spray pattern (very old mildew) decreasing to the second title; rear pastedown has small trace area of old mildew and faint pencil graffiti facing ep with corner chip and straightened dogear. Foxed throughout with short pencil lines top pp.17. Contents as Series Title, full title for 28 "Divine" and half title for 8 "Moral" Songs for Children; Frontis facing full title with 36 "Original Hymns for Sunday Schools". Both full titles subtitled: Revised by the Committee of Publication of the American Sunday-school Union, but no dates on all three titles. Scarce, undocumented reissue similar to a 'cabinet' extending (at least) to 16 volumes, [circa 1820-30]..
