A little wear to spine ends, slight bump to the center of the spine, still a nice, bright copy. The jacket is chipped on the ends of the spine panel (up to 1 cm deep at head), affecting no text, and the spine panel is a bit sunned. FIRST EDITION. An autobiographical novel by American realist, Robert Welch Herrick (1868-1938). A native of Cambridge, Mass., and a graduate of Harvard, Herrick taught at the University of Chicago for thirty years and this book "wryly reflects his academic career (ANB). Scarce in the dust jacket.
