Title page has ink ghosting from opposing page/illustration. Considers well the life and work of French artist, illustrator, and fashion designer Christian "Bebe" Berard (1902-1949), written by his longtime friend Boris Kochno. Shares all aspects of his creative life, including the sets and costumes he designed for ballet, theatre and films. Well-illustrated.
