Raleigh: Edwards & Broughton Printing Company, 1916. Second Edition. . Hardcover. Fair. 8vo. 732 pages, indexed. An ex-library copy with full markings. Hardcover bound in dark brown quarter leather with green cloth-covered boards. The binding is quite worn but sound. The leather spine is very dry and scuffed and shows cracking and staining. Old shelf numbers on the spine, and it looks as if an old label has either been removed or blacked over. There is an old college library bookplate on the front pastedown which notes that this copy was given by Dr. James Sprunt, although the book is NOT signed by him. A sound copy with secure inner hinges. The text is unmarked, but there are occasional embossed blind stamps on some of the pages.
