Contemporary full calf cambridge panel leather binding, spine has five raised bands and red morocco title label, gilt decorated board edges. Very slight cracking to front joint, wear to corners. Good solid binding with both boards firmly attached. Offsetting to endpapers, front free endpaper is clipped to uppr corner and has some contemporary ink notes. Light foxing to text, otherwise very clean throughout, a few pages have pencilled margin notes. An excellent example of the first edition. A landmark work containing the first published price index.
