The author tells how he has found Christianity alive in the rock, in churches hidden below rock ledges or inside caves; in sanctuaries hewn our of the rock like gigantic sculptures or free-standing with only their bases rooted in the bedrock.A very good copy bound in brown cloth, spine lettering gilt, small stain to upper board, in unclipped pictorial dust jacket with edge wear and a few chips.(extra shipping cost over seas).
