The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling or tears. There is a name and address written on the first end paper. The copyright page shows 1929 as the publish date. This is definitely Not a former library book. There is a price of $2.00 on the DJ flap. The dust jacket is about 99% intact with a pea sized chip on the bottom of the back and some light chipping on the top and bottom of the spine as well as the corners. I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket and this old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!

No date. ( British Library catalogue states 1931.) Presumed 1st U. K. edition. Good for age but rather loose and shabby in somewhat bumped and marked boards with wear to spine. No dustjacket.

Lightly bumped spine ends and one folded down page corner, else fine and clean throughout in a tight and square binding. Dust jacket not price clipped, darkened a little around the rear edges, with several little tears and creases around the edges. Nice clean copy overall. First edition.
