About This Item

New York: The Eakins Press, 1971. This is copy 1974 of 2300 copies. Fine in very good dust jacket (price-clipped, light edgewear, tape on inside used to secure a make-shift cover which is, thankfully, no longer present but the tape pieces remain and one thin where the tape was removed, not visible from outside; now covered with a Brodart archival protector). A 1911 poem written during Aiken's stay at Harvard, along with Aiken's entertaining memoir of his experiences at Harvard. The memoir ends with a hilarious poem that Aiken wrote when he was disgusted after T.S. Eliot "left us in the lurch / been and gone and joined the Church". 26 pages plus the facsimile of the original manuscript of Aiken's poem. . 1st Edition. Hard Cover.
