Very Good Condition/Very Good. appendix and The Cast of the First Production at the Edinburgh Festival, August 22 -27, 1949. Black coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Plain yellow text dustwrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel and to the backstrip. The text for T. S. Eliot's most famous play. the edges of the text block are meat and clean and show no spotting, page 35/36 has not been "cancelled". Dust jacket has not been price clipped, and there is a 2 inch tear without loss to the lower left-hand portion of the front panel, small scuff mark about 2 inches above that, and the spine section of the dust jacket has lost several shades of colour.
