About This Item

Vancouver, BC: Heavenly Monkey, 2013. Octavo. (12)pp. One of fifty copies. A compilation of several works, poetic and in prose, all with illustrations of varying techniques. The contributors—Harold Budd, Scott Morgan, Briony Morrow-Cribbs, Barbara Hodgson, and Hermann Ihlenburg—all would be working with Heavenly Monkey on projects over the coming year. Each broaches a different topic, with varying tones, ranging from Budd's humorous poetry to Ihlenburg's exposition on typography. Colophon wood engraving believed to be by the British Columbia artist Jessie Webb. Bound in wrappers with design cut from proofs of original etchings by Gordon Smith. With glassine dust wrapper.
