Constable and Company Ltd., 1948. Good. 8vo, pp.793. The 1948 reprint of the original 1945 Constable edition. Black cloth covers, with gilt lettering to spine. Sun-fading to spine, bumped tail. Light soiling. Front board loose, but text block still secure. No DJ. Browned edges and endpapers, as expected from age. A reading copy. This edition comprises: Bliss, The Garden-Party, The Doves' Nest, Unfinished Stories, Something Childish, and In a German Pension (including the controversial, 'The-Child-Who-Was-Tired').
