A collection of 6 chromolithographed plates (10-1/2" x 15" including margins) of various public figures published as prints by VANITY FAIR with descriptive text either on the verso or on a separate sheet. Included are "The Safe Man," British conservative politician George Sclater-Booth; "A Sub Editor," Captain George Colborne Nugent; "Diplomacy," James Howard Harris, Earl of Malmesbury; "Bells," Lord Grimthorpe; "Copper," banker Reginald Ward; and "Afghan Engineering," Sir Thomas Salter Pyne.
