About This Item

Verona: Edizioni Factotum-Art, 1977-1986. Quartos (most approximately 26.5 x 21 cm), various paginations. Some light soiling, minor edgewear, etc, overall very good. Isaia Mabellini, working under the name Sarenco, was a visual poet and member of the Gruppo 70 in Italy. Their most well-known creation was 'Lotta poetica', a leftist and anti-imperialist monthly journal containing mostly visual poetry contributions. During his most active period, Sarenco created three publishing houses (Edizioni Amodulo, SAR.MIC, and Factotum-Art, the latter with Paul de Vree in 1977), and also founded two other journals, 'Amodulo' and 'Factotum-Art'.

This collection represents a substantial portion of the output of the Edizioni Factotum-Art publishing group, including Factotumbooks 1-40, a complete run in 7 issues of the journal Factotum-Art, and two additional catalogues regarding Sarenco.
