A good original hard cover with moderate shelf wear, fraying started at top and bottom of the back strip, with a 1" tear at the top, spine canted;rear hinge cracked but secure, binding solid, paper light to moderately yellowed, interior clean.

Index in vol 3 for those in vols 3 & 4. All covers very clean. All gilt top edges bright & shiny as new. Other edges show just a bit of aging. Vol 3 upper hinge paper cracked, hinge still sound, no other hinges so effected. All very tight. All tend to stay closed when stood on their spines. .
