Paperback. 1072p.+ 8p. ads, text in French, largely unopened, backstrip is creased and cracked, a visible crack to one gutter, threads are holding but slightly slack. The leaves are edgeworn and brittle. Printed wraps are heavily-worn with dust-soiling and some not too obtrusive repair with old document tape, and your cataloguer has just torn off a 1x2 inch corner. As is.
