Publisher's advertisement for other books by Jean Giraudoux on page facing title page. The first title in the fifth cycle of the publisher's series Pour Mon Plaisir, as indicated on the spine and front wrapper. This is number CCXXIV [224] out of 350 copies numbered with Roman numerals. A limited number of copies was printed in several different numbered series. Jean Giraudoux (1882-1944) was a French novelist and playwright. In Very Good Condition: minor loss of wrapper at head of spine; small stain at tail of spine; front wrapper lightly wrinkled; otherwise, clean and tight.
