Putnam's, 1891. Hardcover. Collectible - Good. Small 8vo in burgundy cloth, gilt titles, two folding maps bound in. Just a Good copy: 5' split in the cloth at the front joint, shallow chipping at the top of the spine, front hinge cracked. Affixed to the front pastedown is a 'Compliments of the Author' sticker in manuscript, dated Nov. 1892. On the front free endpaper is the inscription 'Walter B. Douglas, from General Beauregard, St. Louis, Nov. 1892.'
