New York.: Irving National Bank.. 1918.. Color map on sheet 34 x 25 inches, folding into rear of booklet 8 x 5 1/2 inches. Booklet has 39 pages, most of which is an index to places on the map. Short separation at two fold intersections, but overall map is in very good condition in similar booklet. An attractive and detailed map of South and Central America and the Caribbean, with red lines marking distances from strategic spots. At lower left, two inset maps show "Natural Vegetation" and "Principal Products." At lower right inset maps show "Density of Population," "Rainfall January" and "Rainfall July." An unusual publication showing the interest in commercial interaction with Latin America; apparently there was also a "Regular" edition of the map for wall display. .
