Oxford University Press, 1981. Boards. Very good. Gigantic 2 volume set in slipcase, which features a small drawer at top with magnifying glass. A pen scibble on title page of volume one, and some pages have wrinkled corners. Slight chipping on edges of slipcase. This was an everyday use copy in its previous life, but it is in very good shape considering the nature of its 4000+ ultra-thin pages. This makes a gorgeous addition to any reference collection, and its size and striking appearance would make it a fascinating decorative conversation piece in anyone's library. We have had this displayed in our brick and mortar location for over a year now, and customers never tire of examining the micrographic text in this almost comically oversized volume. Requires additional shipping charges if purchased online, as this is -- we can't emphasize this enough -- an absolute gargantuan pair of books.
