The binding is moderately rubbed and worn and has some white spotting on the front cover. A sound copy with secure inner hinges. Early owner's signature of "S. F. Mordecai, Nov. 1919" on the front pastedown. Mordecai has also signed the book in the gutter of page 25. Samuel F. Mordecai was the first dean of the Law School at Trinity College, now Duke University, in Durham, North Carolina. A limitation page notes that this is Copy No. 33 of an unspecified limited edition. Text is a little toned but generally clean. Contains a few illustrations.
