Octavo contemporary blind-tooled calf with later calf re-back on 5 raised bands, red gilt and black gilt labels, viii +518pp +[26]pp copious Index. Signature Chas. Bate at head of titlepage, first few pages a little foxed, else clean and crisp throughout in a very fine binding (referenced by N5074).
