New Haven: Maltby, Goldsmith and Co.and Samuel Wadsworth, 1818. 567, 548pp. Three quarter green morocco with marbled boards and endpapers, 5 raised bands, gilt lettering and gilt scrolling to spine, top edges gilt, silk ribbon bookmarks, engraved frontispiece to Volume I, former owner's bookplate on front pastedowns. Both volumes are in sound condition, minor scattered foxing, contents mildly age-toned, tight bindings, pen notations on last page of Volume II. A very handsomely bound set. Howes T-366. . Hard Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
