This is a reprint of the "New edition" of 1917. Thorburn (1860 - 1935) was a Scottish artist and animal painter and bird illustrator, painting mostly in watercolour. A heavy book. (7.5 JM FO 59/3. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
