" 'Singer of the Bush' contains Paterson's literary works up to his return from the Boer War. This in cludes his famous poems 'The Man from Snowy River', 'Clancy of the Overflow' and 'Waltzing Matilda', the poignant 'On Kiley's Run' and the well-loved Saltbush Bill poems. Previously unpublished work includes 'Illalong Children', Paterson' s r e m i n i s c ences of his childhood on properties in western and southern New South Wales....'Song of the Pen' presents Paterson's literary works of the period 1901-1941. During these years he produced a significant amount of poetry and many pr o se w or ks .
