Paris: Chez P. Didot, l'ainé, 1816. First Edition . Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. xliv, 184pp. Gilt-stamped full leather, 2 engraved portraits, 1 map. Boards detached, front board and spine missing, board scuffed, endpapers heavily darkened around edges, first few and last few pages have some light staining and foxing, the text is mildly toned. The text block is solid, and this book is a good candidate for rebinding. Howes B-114.
