The text is illustrated with small black and white photographs, reproductions of music scores and black-and-white illustrations. Blue coloured textured boards with gilt coloured titles to the front panel and black strip. Plain text dust wrapper with pink and white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Black-and-white photograph of author to the rear fold over panel. As the name would suggest, a concise encyclopaedia of Jewish Music from across time; including composers, musicians, traditional musical instruments etc.  Softening of the back strip edges with some rubbing also present. A little rubbing of the book corners with some age toning of the text block edges. Sunning to the edges of the end pages. Creasing of the dust wrapper edges and quite noticeably heavy rubbing of the dust wrapper front panel. Sunning of the back strip and of the rear panel which also shows some handling marks.
