Very Good, bump to fore edge of rear board, toning to end pages only, prior owner name front paste down hidden by front flap, small crease to cloth at head of spine. In Very Good Minus dust jacket, large triangular chip rear panel detached but present, small chips and tears and edge wear. laid in a contemporary newspaper clipping , presumably a London newspaper, with a review of the book. Consists of nine tales written in the previous 2 years with all but 3 unpublished previously. . SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY AUTHOR. First Edition. Quarter Cloth. Very Good/Very Good Minus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
