New York: Harper & Brothers, 1889. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Vol. 1- 395 pages. Vol. 2- 423 pages. Illustration with tissue on frontis. 6 3/4 x 10 1/4 in. Green cloth binding, gilt lettering on spines, top edge of text block gilt. Condition of each volume is VERY GOOD: wear and soiling to covers and spines, corners bent, spines lightly darkened, edges of text block lightly yellowed, pages clean, binding tight, previous owner's name in light ink on ffep.
