Toronto: C. Blackett Robinson, 1882. Leather Bound. Good+. xxvii, 504 p. 26 cm. One foldout map of Canada in yellow, red, green, blue and black. Dark brown half calf with dark brown boards. Gold titles on spine. Corners worn, shelf wear to bottom and top of spine, spine sunned. First page of Table of Contents uncut. Front free endpaper missing and front hinge cracking internally. Map in really fine condition except for 11 cm tear along bottom of page at spine. These papers focus on land rights and claims for the Hudson's Bay Company before and after the 1859 expiry of licence.
