(1922). 5" wide by 7.5" tall. Tiny label of Angus & Robertson, booksellers, Sydney [Australia]. Original cream-colored cloth, with front cover lettered in red within a red ruled border. "The Rectorial Address Delivered at St Andrews University, May 3rd 1922." First Edition (First Book Publication). First edition, first issue, with 45 pages (rather than 47). According to Barrie's bibliographer, B. D. Cutler, "Copies having 45 pp. are much the scarcer and probably came first." - Cutler 80 (pp. 171-172). The present copy is as described at Cutler 80, except in two respects: 1) the printer's imprint appears at the foot of page 45, rather than on the verso of the title page; 2) the spine is plain, rather than lettered in red across the spine.
