Both volumes Very Good in marbled paper boards with cloth spines, prior owner name stamp title page, lacking the title labels at spines, boards rubbed, binding solid and tight, moderate foxing throughout both volumes, contents unmarked. Joseph Alfred Serret (1819-1885) was best known for his work in differential geometry. . First Edition. Paper Covered Boards. Very Good -/No Jacket, As Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
