Montreal, 1825. Good. Orders John Cliff to pay a plaintiff named Thomas Busby the sum of £ 4 or else appear before a judge at the Montreal Court House, on Monday January 31, 1825. Attached is an 1823 handwritten document stating that John Cliff owes 1 to 2 months rent on a house on Campeau Street, St. Mary suburb of Montreal. Reverse of other page says rent was due 1824. Some stains and rough edges.
