Octavo (23.5cm); dark green cloth with front cover paper label in full color, titled in black on spine; yellow edge-stain; 282pp; illustrated with black and white endpapers and 12 color plates. Exterior of rear board rather heavily mottled from past damp exposure (not extending to interior); a tight, sound copy, front color panel has almost no wear. Despite flaws, about Very Good, lacking the dustjacket. The third Oz book by Thompson, in which the Cowardly Lion is kidnapped. BIENVENUE & SCHMIDT, p.104.
