This copy INSCRIBED BY ADAMS to ETHEL HOPKINS, "To "ma" Hopkins, a real westerner & the mother of the rodeo official organ, Hook & Horns. With warm good wishes from Ramon F. Adams, Tucson, Ariz. Jan.9th 1950." Ethel Hopkins ownership signature above inscription. Greenish cloth stamped in red. Endpapers a little darkened. Review copy notice on front paste-down. Dust jacket is spine faded with small tears, chips and edge wear, with long splits on spine folds, thus the front panel is nearly detached, now preserved in brodart dust jacket cover.
