NY: Charles Scribner's Sons; (1958). First Edition . Hardcover. Dust Jacket Included. First printing of the author's first book, a novel set in occupied Berlin. Near fine in a very good dust jacket. Top edge of page block is slightly dusty; minor wear to edges of boards. The jacket has some rubbing at stress points, a creased tear at the bottom of the front panel, and a couple of tiny chips at spine ends. Jacket colors are still bright, and $4.75 price appears on the front flap. No names or other markings in book, a tight and square copy
