About This Item

E. J. Brill, Leiden, Netherlands, 1969. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fine/Fine. From Charles Muses Library and containing his notes and opinions about the work, even though Muses notations are throughout the work I still class this work as fine (The book itself is Fine to near new) as I believe his notes are not detrimental to the work in fact the opposite is the case. Charles Arthur Muses; 28 April 1919 26 August 2000), was an esoteric philosopher who wrote articles and books under various pseudonyms (including Musès, Musaios, Kyril Demys, Arthur Fontaine, Kenneth Demarest and Carl von Balmadis). He founded the Lion Path, a shamanistic movement. He held unusual and controversial views relating to mathematics, physics, philosophy, and many other fields. E. O. James was professor Emeritus of the history of religion in the University of London. Brown cloth boards with bright gold gilt title and symbol to front board, gold gilt title to spine, binding is as new and pages are bright, white and crisp. Previous owners bookplate inside front board now covered with one of mine. Dust jacket is in protective plastic and is in fine condition as well. About The Mason's Corner

I am a private collector of interesting, hard to find rare books mainly of a Masonic nature and related subjects but due too personal reasons I have decided to let my collection go. All my listings will be accurately described and contain photos of the actual book for sale. If you are in the States or elsewhere other than Australia please contact me before purchase of the larger and heavier books so I can check shipping costs. In most case I've tried to add the shipping cost straight onto the price of the book. Therefore the prices are not set in stone, IE: prices can be adjusted if purchaser is in Australia.Feel free to ask any questions concerning my listings as well as extra photo's if required.Glenn BrittenThe Mason's corner
