About This Item

Singapore: Marshall Cavendish Editions, 2009. Hardcover. Very Good. A collection of biographies of prisoners in Singapore's famous Changi Jail. Commissioned by the Singapore Prison Service, this book is probably intended to deter potential offenders by describing the commission of a series of crimes and the consequent punishment in popular story book form. 119 pages with a few descriptive photographs of what awaits similar offenders when they're caught. . *This book is being sold to raise funds for the House of Hope, a home for tsunami orphans in Chennai, India. 80% of the net sale proceeds of this book will be donated to this charity.* Weight: 0.5kg. Post free within Malaysia Although the outer edges of the pages look mildly tanned, this is probably by design of the publisher. The cover has mild wear and the text block is slightly dirty. The binding is tight and the text clear with no tanning throughout.
