Includes dozens and dozens of high quality illustrations including full page photogravures and color maps, facimile documents, large and small portraits, etc. Handsomely bound in three quarter chestnut brown smooth leather over marbled boards, gilt lettered and decorated spine with slightly raised spine bands, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers. Very good condition with some expected and fairly light rubbing to the extremities, small chip to top edge of front cover, good hinges, firm text block, slightly age-toned but very clean pages, no names or other markings.. Hard Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
