Cupples & Leon Co., 1918. This is a very attractive edition of this Classic Series Book. The grey cloth with red lettering is very clean & sharp, and the paste-on illustrated plate is very bright and very cute. The condition of this classic book is Very Good, and the jacket is Good. This is #1 in this series and lists one of four on the page behind the title page. There is some wear on the spine bottom and bottom edges. The binding is tight and the spine is straight. The Frointispiece is really sweet. There are a number of B&W illustrations by Julia Greene, and they are all great. The pages are very clean and bright for theit age. Thet are unmarked. There is an inscription on the free page. The jacket has a few small tears and some wear, especially on the spine top and bottom, but the front illustration is in great shape. 248 pages + adv..
